i cldnt think of an appropriate post title coz it'll be a mesh of everything tt has been happening arnd me
i havent been able to update my food blog coz i havent been really inspired so instead my cousin has been filling in with all her baking adventures :D its really cool... her latest macaron batch turned out really beautiful. im really sad im not there to eat them
i started my work.... so far so good.... we'll see how long this will last :D friends are all placing their bets already hehe i like the pple who work arnd me and for once i dont feel terribly out of place in sg coz for the most part, my colleagues are foreigners too. surprisingly lots of filipinos but hey im not complaining coz i like them
OH! and i found out my favourite kettle corn frm philippines are no longer for sale!!! it seemed they went bankrupt... so sad :(
the highlight of this month was really samadhi's trip here to sg....
even thou she was only here for a few days beginning of this month we spent as much time together as possibel coz i havent seen here in FOREVER
i finally got to meet matt, the love of her life.... and im glad he takes really good care of her :) im sooo happy she's found someone....
both nights matt was here, i got him pretty drunk esp the 2nd nite with the help of some indos :D it was matt's first time here in sg so of course we had to show him how we do it here
she looks great and hasnt changed abit!!! i was sooo glad to have spent time with her
then off she went to phuket to spend time with her mom too while getting her wisdom teeth out... but on her way back to png.... of course she had to come back here rite. the plan was that i was only going to be able to see her for abt an hour before her flight coz of work but when we got to the airport.. her flight was delayed!!!! hahahaha we figured we'd check out the launch of bmw 5 series
then it was off to dinner and still waiting for the latest on her flight.... frm 9pm to 1155pm to 225am then 4am and it finally took off at 615am the next day!! hahah luckily she had access of the lounge to rest
this past weekend started off with meeting ben for drinks on friday evening after work :) he finally got home frm the Middle East and holy crap was it a start... we decided to go to our usual compromise which is timbre. what started out as an easy evening ended with BOTH of us drunk out of our minds... and surprisingly ben was just as bad as i was. we were there at 7 and left just after midnite... in between just the 2 of us consumed, a gin tonic each and 3 freakin bottles of champagne!!!! omg hahaha
woke up hung over, had to deal with my new place renovation and finally decided on my beautiful gaggenau oven im in love.... hahaha
then it was off to mark's bday at sentosa cove.... my first time ever to drive thru it and holy crap the houses there are AMAZING
it really felt like it was not singapore.... even the cars in the driveway were impressive hahaha. the whole drive in, swas and i were just looking out each sides going "wow" every few minutes. i would love to move in there but it is sooo far from anywhere in sg. swas likened this new area to be similar to beverly hills. we even drove past this apt tt really reminded me of those in SM facing the pacific ocean
food was great! and totally prepared by my cousin... it was interesting to see how even in our 30s and 40s pple still get really drunk at house parties hahaha. considering everything, it still is amusing how most of mark's friends are caucasian
then it was off to zouk
As always wayyyy too much drinking was involved. 1 bottle of jaeger, 1 bottle of martell and half a bottle of jd and who knws how many rounds of sex on the beach... im really tempted to post up some of the night's best pictures but i think i'd spare my friends some embarassment and just put it up on fb :D
when velvet was done, it was off to phuture till it closed then as always ktvvvv. the pple there knw what to expect out of them, they always just laugh when we walk in.
on the way back, in the taxi... with 3 very smashed friends, i dont understand what the taxi driver was thinking coz he obviously thot it was fine to hit on girls half his age... i found it very disturbing
woke up this afternoon to go for a fitting. then on my way back i get a msg frm indra... "pris, did i haf my glasses on me last nite when we got home?" lets just leave it as the mystery was solved when indra walked into his bathroom to take a shower and only to walk out 3 mins later laughing his butt off coz he found his glasses in the toilet bowl!!!!!
its past 2am and i really haf to go to bed.... urgh work
anyway i really hope u all are having a much better may than i am
this island is really getting to clausterphobic for me
