long overdued - the birthday girl!!!

it all started at the new ps cafe at Ann Siang Hill

the cake (at least a slice of it which was wonderfully made last minute by the patissier)

and then a few days later it was at kudeta

a whole week of festivities.... too many people with their birthdays in nov!!!! and now this month is ending ushering in dec :)

been playing christmas songs every opportunity and its GREAT now only to solve christmas pressies

am now in vietnam at my first overseas conference... havent been back since 2006 when i came with pepperdine but i've been seriously craving pho and i've already had one! now to continue on my pho overload :D

with a limited budget and done in school paul managed to direct this and it looks great!

our yearly F1 special "seats"! this year was great!!!

as always.... we're always so spoilt by g and her mom! airconditioned place tt's been closed off, food and drinks within easy reach and we're away frm the crowd plus we get to see 3 of the hardest turns of the sg track and still get to hear and see the cars

since the professionals all need awhile to edit their photos... here's a compilation of photos from diff cameras :)

with only 1-2 hours of sleep with some of the bridesmaid not even being able to sleep, we all were up by 530am to get our makeup and hair done

what was to go onto the bride's head

a little opportunity to take photos while we were all nicely done up without the madness of the day starting just yet

i love our dresses! but of course

then the morning madness started... the boys finally arrived just a tiny bit late, and we had a totally impromtu gate crashing where the boys were surprised and only allowed to enter into swas' room by paying their way thru

then a whirlwind of activities at swas' place... we had a mini tea ceremony with the immediate family,and then of course the confusion of moving frm the bride's hse to mbs where andrew's family were situated. arrived to an over-crowded suite at mbs where it was another 2 hours of tea ceremony. right after, it was off to the temple as both were buddhist.... rushed back to mbs only to haf time for a quick shower before going back to hair and makeup again for the evening

the event organizer, tina lee of directions did a great job in doing up the reception area! in accordance to swas' alice in wonderland theme, we had the huge plant animals....

and of course coz i wasnt arnd for the sharks fin, the servers stupidly took it away :( and since everyone was served a full abalone, johan mentally calculated that abt 300 sharks had to be killed and over a thousand abalone consumed haha

then it was off to zouk for after-party and bouquet throwing

zouk very nicely, helped us closed up an area of members for only us and put up multiple balloons to make it look really pretty...

the nite ended when lights came up and everyone was terribly nicely wasted :)
