with 5 bedrooms, an awesome deck and cooks galore, the 2nd nite we celebrated sham's bday mexicana style mixed with chinese bits

and yk spent the whole afternoon preparing a feast!

there were tacos, burritoes, chille con carne, caramel poporn, fish and shrimp tacos, guacamole, salsa... all simply amazing esp for me coz i've been craving good mexican food

then the party started!

that night was rather productive coz we made a dance routine for maggie that was shown live via skype during her wedding... and we had a full on cake fight which was great! it proved to be very tiring for jo as he passed out on the sofa

and the next day was EASTER!!!! we had a full on easter egg hunt on the grounds it was great! so much fun

and finally after an afternoon of scheming, intense competition and a few physical altercations... the winner!

it was a great extended weekend of fun, laughter, cooking, smoking, drinking, dress up, making friends, surrounding myself with gorgeous gay men, great company... and now all i can do is miss all of them while im back in boring sg :(  till the next trip! we're all now searching for the next holiday home which looks to be even more crazy with pools, gym, tennis courts and even one that's a farm! looks like i just might be going to melb twice this year :)

Melbourne Mania

its been awhile since i've last blogged... been busy with the usual... work, travelling, getting drunk, eating and then trying in vain to go on a diet. these few months has seen me travelling quite a bit which is a good thing coz i miss my friends, hate this tiny island and just generally not want to grow up. so after mumbai... i finally found a week to take off to melbourne to visit jojo :)

i was terribly blessed to go during the one week that it barely rained except for a day or 2 and towards the end it was their easter hols too! so everyone had off which was great!

living with jo meant waking up with him in the mornings before he headed off to work and joined him for breakfast a few times :)

first brunch on sunday was at mart 130 with tash

the latest sight i've been seeing... jojo riding his bike! everywhere! even to work in the mornings!

also we got to go to hardware society... yummy breakfast on a gloomy morning before he had to go to work

and not forgetting the wonderful drinks we all must have in the mornings...

dinner meals included going to movida for yummy mid week food and to trotters for their gnocchi

anyway off to the main point of the whole trip! our group trip to mt martha for easter weekend...
there were - jo, claud, koba, yk, peter, sham, miki, g, marn, wilson and myself with a few other who came and went!

then it was off!!! our house for the long weekend, its (ocean) views and unloading

the whole extended weekend we basically woke up, made brunch (going thru like 5 dozen eggs by the end of the trip), drank wine, slacked in the afternoons (some sightseeing in the nearby area or going to the hot springs or going to the nearby tavern) and by 3,4 we'd start prepping for dinner and moving on the whiskey and tequila

since we didnt have an electric mixer... everyone had a hand in whipping the egg whites and cream for their pavlova which they gobbled up pretty much immediately! haha

many more occasions to write about but i'll do it in another post... going off to bed now... its going to be friday... friday... friday!
