since the professionals all need awhile to edit their photos... here's a compilation of photos from diff cameras :)

with only 1-2 hours of sleep with some of the bridesmaid not even being able to sleep, we all were up by 530am to get our makeup and hair done

what was to go onto the bride's head

a little opportunity to take photos while we were all nicely done up without the madness of the day starting just yet

i love our dresses! but of course

the dress of the day (an elle saab of course)...

our gorgeous flowers!

then the morning madness started... the boys finally arrived just a tiny bit late, and we had a totally impromtu gate crashing where the boys were surprised and only allowed to enter into swas' room by paying their way thru

this is my fav picture of the day... swas looking really happy :)

then a whirlwind of activities at swas' place... we had a mini tea ceremony with the immediate family,and then of course the confusion of moving frm the bride's hse to mbs where andrew's family were situated. arrived to an over-crowded suite at mbs where it was another 2 hours of tea ceremony. right after, it was off to the temple as both were buddhist.... rushed back to mbs only to haf time for a quick shower before going back to hair and makeup again for the evening

the event organizer, tina lee of directions did a great job in doing up the reception area! in accordance to swas' alice in wonderland theme, we had the huge plant animals....

and of course the major highlights of dinner....

and of course coz i wasnt arnd for the sharks fin, the servers stupidly took it away :( and since everyone was served a full abalone, johan mentally calculated that abt 300 sharks had to be killed and over a thousand abalone consumed haha

this is swas at her 2nd change with her awesome hairdresser!

then it was off to zouk for after-party and bouquet throwing

zouk very nicely, helped us closed up an area of members for only us and put up multiple balloons to make it look really pretty...

the nite ended when lights came up and everyone was terribly nicely wasted :)

leo's 80th birthday celebrated 50 years ahead

starting 16th oct for the birthday boy's real birthday on the 17th...

instructions were to dress up as old people or basically anything to do with the hospital... and best part was leo was suppose to be either in london or on his private island celebrating his big 3 - 0

received an email 2 weeks before saying to keep the 16th free for him and i really thot it was him being silly or something. fast forward 2 wks... leo comes round to pick me up in his porsche that he rented for his duration of stay here hahaha that crazy boy flew all the way back here really for his birthday! and it was a totally unglamorous debacle

sinclair went as his old self - even falling aslp towards the end, gina came straight from work plus she's the youngest of all of us so its fine... sarah wore her mom's dress and the rollars were really hers, swas had on her mom's vintage dress - going for the western old aunties look, i had on my grandma's clothes + handbags + mom's curlers and best was the birthday boy himself! the bald part on top of his head is really his head... no wig... he really shaved off only that part!!!! omg! for a sec, swas cldnt even recognise him when we walked in.... he had on a colostomy bag filled with warm "beer" and a walking stick too

and of course as the night went on.... the pictures got more RA-ted

there was the wardrobe malfunction...

and of course the birthday boy... wasted, old and eating his all his birthday cake (including the candles... and in the words of gina - SURREAL)
