i am exhausted.........

this entire weekend was spent boating, sat on theory and today whole day out at sea on a little boat which at one point in time everyone onboard thot was going to sink.

thankfully the weather was good. not too hot but still humid as hell, the sun was out, fresh air and the ever dirty singapore water
not forgetting the beautiful sunset

great singapore sale

i know there's been a lack of update but i really din feel like adding another entry and kick off the entry with johan's bday pics.... untill i had more pretty pics to put up!

this week managed to past quickly, been going for really mind-numbing boring boating classes with my brother coz he wants to learn how to sail a keelboat or something rather? haha in between classes we've been talking abt how we're going to rent a huge luxury boat when he comes up to n.america next semester and boat arnd for a few days...

so days have been burnt just attending those classes including tmr when im going to haf to be out at sea... cross everyone's fingers that it doesnt rain or else im going to get seasick :p
meanwhile nites were spent having crazy mad fun with my darlings at dempseys including a nite at ps with nonstop laughing involved... what would i do without them? life would be so boring

also, the great singapore sale has started! let the madness begin! lucky thing is that since im basically not doing much now, i got to shop beginning of the week before the sale officially started to get first dips in checking stores that started earlier, and was the first few to walk thru town early friday before the crowds came to orchard

din get much, but im eyeing this gorgeous pair of shoes. le sigh. leave it to me to find things that arent on sale............

friday started out good! johan picked me up for lunch at marmalade (something ive been wanting to do since getting back) and the food was delicious. walked arnd at palais for a bit... spotted pretty dresses at crazy prices and the most gorgeous pair of shoes.... i want. sigh...(a sugar daddy or a really generous farity godmother would be good now haha) then we walked arnd town and ended up having johan walk into ck and buy up all their black shirts sized M and a pair of beautiful calf skin shoes for an absolute steal price! so nice! since this darling was suppose to be at work... he decided to head back only at arnd 4 and left me with all of his shopping haha. met gina at canele paragon for a drink and dessert and headed home tired from lugging all the shopping bags and the crowd that descended upon town by then.
got back only to get a call from sarah to head out for a movie... but we found out everywhere was sold out!!!! town was packed! so we drifted.... first up icecold then alley then mos burger then zouk then soya bean!

weekend madness

today's already sunday...... and time passes sooooooo fast when u haf visitors in town

i love entertaining fun people, especially my gorgeous cousin stephan, his fiance and one of his groom's man, sang

and goodness i have learnt just how much money and effort is needed for a wedding! goodness.... the amt of shopping and cash! even i couldnt keep up with all the shopping.... haha when has that ever happen?

since thurs till today, my day would start with me sending aaron to work, mom to redcross, me off to gym and then meeting the trio for lunch. sang and i would pretty much follow the happy couple for a bit with their wedding shopping before finding somewhere to sit and chill while they finish up shopping. after all the money spent, find a nice restaurant to haf dinner and its off to drinking....

got to meet for the first time, monica, stephan's wife to be in 6 mths..... crossing my fingers that i would be able to make their wedding in bali but if i do make the trip its going to be MADNESS!!!! haha - i'll essentially be flying to and fro LA - asia twice in 1 week!!!!!!! yikes... and maybe then i'll get my gold krisflyer haha

both guys are so successful for their age... would really like to be in their position when i get to their age. the jobs involves soooooo much travelling that its good to work in when young but i really dont know how to do it for long periods of time
too bad that sang's moving on, out of LA by the time i head back in aug or else it would haf been fun to haf another friend to hang out with and party....

friday was best! when i showed them cannery, sang wasnt too impressed so it started off slow..... we ended up at forbidden city to start drinking and i bought them all their virgin waterfalls!

the drink wasnt as potent as i would haf liked it to be, but they were amused with the preparation so i guess that did the job. :)

velvet was playing amazing music!!!!! i had sooooooo much fun that nite.....

then saturday rolled by.....
the old farts all were soooo tired from the nite before that they were sooooo quiet the whole afternoon. wanted to bring them out last nite too but couldnt think of anywhere that could top velvet on a friday nite.
so thot sang would appreciate checking out nab for the view so we just had some drinks there. it was really nothing much... music was mostly good (thankfully)
had johan and sarah to join too and after, it was only left the 3 of us actually.... we did our usual bar hopping. after nab, it was off to post bar then wine bar coz johan had 1 for 1
it was really sad that even after 7-8 drinks i wasnt even buzzed! argh

life passes so quickly now. fly in and fly out, do as much as possible within a short short time.
in 4 days.... ive brought them to as many places as i think they would like. dempsey, chomp chomp, east coast, cannery etc
it was intense, high, stressful, emotional, fun, amazing
so many emotions but all experienced with laughter
it was wonderful
and im glad that i could meet so many new fun people

and now its all over..... and the exhaustion has finally hit me big big time.... going to take it easy for a bit. thou i am a little sad to see them all leave so quickly

it is the company that really makes the difference and im sooooo blessed to have all these people around me, spoiling me so so much

on a totally different subject, it seems that of the 3 of us im suppose to be the first to get married coz according to miss gina im born for it and the only explaination is coz of my indon blood or whatever it is. talking abt it, it is going to be expensive for the first of us to get married coz then there's 2 maid of honours and the first has to rent a private island i think its called necktar island? in celebration haha
sarah was tired from work, gina's nose is stuffed and im just tired from the damn heat so we've been talking a lot of frivolous, random things haha

sometimes i feel as if coming back home is as bad if not worse than going thru finals week
the stress of being under scrutiny from everyone is tremendous
and today seems like one of those days
like nothing can seem to go right
only wrong
and that everything that does go wrong is blamed on me
coz im a girl
coz im the oldest
coz im not as holy as i shd be
coz i dont follow the traditional rules to every dot

very little keep me together and it all seems to fall apart today
i wish i could be cuddled and sayanged and told that everything will be fine
i dont need people telling me that im not living up to expectations, that im not good enuf
i wish to be somewhere else having a REAL holiday
away from all this bullshit

best part of it all is that i've only been back for a week! one week.... or 9 days and im counting down to when im going back to cali, away from this all
to concentrate on school and to curse and swear for 4 weeks of all school term knowing that it will end soon
but this, this will not end soon

coming home has always been one of a conflicted choice....

on one hand i love coming back becoz of my dear friends, the food, the nite life, the proximity to other asian coutries, my brothers etc

but mess with other people just keeps me away

if i ever do decide to cut my hair it'll be bcoz of the damn weather here! argh

ever since getting back ive already experienced the 2 weather of spore... freaking blistering hot/humid and the rain..... take yesterday gina and i cldnt even leave anywhere airconditioned for fear of the heat... but early early this morning it poured heavy rain with thunder and all! or actually with the time now make all the yesterdays and all the day before heh

its 450am now and i just got back from an amazing nite out... love all my friends that made this nite wonderful :) lots of champange and lycheetinis and vodka was consumed and 2 flamings for the virgin drinkers haha including my brother that made me proud by not even feeling the alcohol! heh haha good dinner, good company, good drinks wat more can a girl ask for?

1st nite out with friends since coming back and it hasnt let me down yet

nite swimming with more champagne tmr nite :) no more crowds for this weekend so no more zouk even with a guest dj
off to ploock my butt down early at book cafe tmr to work work work.... before swimming and possibly joggin with my brothers in the afternoon

guess my phone wont be ringing any time soon so im off to catch some zzzzs

back home finally

after a really long 18 hour flight via narita with only 1 hour of slp and the rest of the time spent watching movies, im actually wide wide awake

home is home at the end of the day
its sticky
its warm as hell
but it has its own attractions

brother noticed i din haf my usual welcome club at the airport saying that i shd just come home less often..... and he also threatened me with walking home within 10 mins of sitting in the car. its our usual thing... aaron picks me up at the airport i complain about him driving too slow and he threatens to pull over and make me walk :) i love my brothers especially since he didnt really haf to pick me up since he does haf work in approx 4 hours from now which i haf to send him to ha.

check out my huge ugly bruise on my arm..... and i haf a party to go to in a day! it wont go away by then...... :(

its going to be soooooo busy over the next 2-3 days that hopefully i wont forget to breathe... its going to be a additional pain with jetlag too

just found out too that mom's off to sydney so its PARTY all weekend long!!!!
