work's been crap but then again what else is new for anyone working rite? but its been brought to new heights just this week as i've been roped in to be part of the cheerleading team for our company's d&d... seriously thou holy crap.... its not that i hate doing this - i actually despise doing it! and the words and movements are really just humiliating
but on better note.... lets see what else has happened since the start of the year. i've managed to keep up with my new year's resolution and drink less... cant really go out much thks to work BUT g, sinclair and i did manage to have dinner this week at our fav french restaurant and it GREAT! it totally made my week with our comfort food... wish i had bothered to take more photos but really cldnt care less so u only get to see our awesome duck rillete
and then over the weekend i was introduce by janice to this really cool mixologist place in haji lane and im actually thinking of having my bday there.... now that its tt time of the year again, i need to figure out what i wanna do and this year, clubbing just seems soooooo old but who knws rite?
i'm majorly itching to cook but havent found the inspiration to deal with anything outside of my room just yet so we'll have to wait and see i guess
stressed at work and at home.... only thing tt's keeping me going is the idea of maybe LA for cny and my bday :p i have yet to find the guts to ask my boss for leave hahahaha need to do so this week!
leaving u guys with the great new years picture sarah finally posted on fb!!! this must be the longest she's ever taken to upload pictures (i'm actually STILL waiting for gina to give me her pictures from thanksgiving while the post is still left unpublished coz i dont have the bird's final picture)
as always sarah, sinclair and i have to celebrate new years without gina coz she's in charge of the fireworks!! but thanks to her, we get the awesome firework display promptly at midnight! this year's our 2nd time at OE and after a shot of patron and 2 bottles of champy des was really nice to drop me off at one altitude to find janice! multiple glasses of champy after.... we decided, feet by this time hurting like mad, to make our way down to zouk! where surprisingly i was able to spot more good friends which on that night wasnt much of a good thing coz i had to do more shots but these were yummy!!! it was sour plum shots and they tasted soooo yummy! but everyone arnd me were pretty much drunk and a lot ended up on my dress too :( by this time, janice and friends were going to head off for supper but i realised i was in nooooo state to go anywhere w lights so thankfully kai was arnd to send me home hahaha well that was the plan at this point. what we didnt realise was that there wld not be ANY taxis at all!!! it was madness!!!! at 530am, feet hurting like crap, poor kai and afandi were taking care of a rather drunk me hahaha and i had the brilliant plan to call my poor brother who thankfully picked up the call and drove down to send all of us home - aaron to the rescue!!!
