Kathryn Nelson: Passion is seldom the end of any story, for it cannot long endure if it is not soon supplemented with true affection and mutual respect.

Rainer Rilke: For one human being to love another; that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation.

Marvin Taylor: Love is not singular except in syllable

Dr Seuss: You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams

unknown: You can give without loving, but you can never love without giving

Victor Hugo: The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved - loved for ourselves, or rather, loved in spite of ourselves

Unknown: You learn to like someone when you find out what makes them laugh, but you can never truly love someone until you find out what makes them cry

unknown: True love is when you put someone on a pedestal, and they fall - but you are there to catch them.
